This Week's blog is an interview with Ashley Brannock, one of the characters from A Love Beyond Time.

Ashley sits down on the sofa and says, “ quiet everyone my interview is coming on.” A poofy haired platinum blonde appears on the screen

“I’m Dominique Sipika, this the first in our series surrounding the recent events that have come to be known as the Lovers Quartet. I’m here with Ashley Brannock, one of the individuals involved in the unusual events. Ms. Brannock would you care to tell our viewer about yourself.’

“I’m Ashley Brannock, I have a degree in interior design and I work at Maccabe Design. They specialize in business interior design. I live with my two ‘sisters’. We call each other sisters because we’re so close, but we’re not actually related. We were roommates in college and we’ve been close ever since.”

“Are your sisters involved in these Lover’s Quartet events?”

“Yes they are, but in there own way. Mainly it’s because they’re connected to me. Even though Veronica would deny any involvement in anything that could possibly be construed as supernatural. She’s the logical one. Even if I don’t know where her logic comes from some of the time.”

“Yes, Veronica is that way, but enough about her. The question is do you believe in the supernatural?”

“I honestly don’t know. The jury is still out on that one. The nightmare I keep having must have some origin, but I don’t know what it is. Your makeup artist did an amazing job with me. I actually saw the old me when they were done, but don’t let that fool you. I’m hanging on the edge for dear life.”

“And why is that?”

“You try having the same nightmare for six months and see how you handle it.”

“I didn’t mean to upset you. From what you’re saying its taken its toll on you?”

“Sorry about that my emotional control isn’t what it used to be. And yes it has taken its toll. If you saw me without all this makeup you’d swear I had one foot in the grave. My life is teetering on the edge and I don’t know how much longer I can last. My only hope is that I can find out why all of this is happening to me.”

“Is there any hope that you will actually find those answers?”

“The dream is full of clues, but I don’t know quite what they mean. I’ve been drawing out what I’ve seen in the dream in an attempt to find out what they mean. One of your recent interviews did give me a lead though.”

“I’d love to ask you what that lead is, but unfortunately we’ve run out of time. It was a pleasure meeting you Ms. Brannock. Maybe we’ll have time to finish this discussion at a later time.”

“I would like that.”
“Tune in next time and I will be interviewing our very own Veronica Harwood.”

The TV screen goes blank as Veronica hits the button. She turns a glacial glare upon Ashley.
