One of my Facebook friends acquainted me with a different way of thinking about beginning a new year. Instead of making New Years Resolutions she chose a single word to represent what she wants to change in the new year.
I have chosen the word Love. This year I’m going to focus on doing what I love to do and I’m going to pour my heart into. I love to write and I’m no longer going to think of it as another job. It is what I truly want to do with the rest of my life. I’m going to open myself up to whatever comes of it good or bad.
There are many other things that love could open up for me. If they come to me this year I will meet them with open arms.
Now that I have told you what my word for the year is I ask you what yours is going to be?
